Mitochondrial Medicine 2007: Riding the Wave of the Future June 13-16, 2007 Catamaran Resort Hotel , Mission Bay, San Diego, CA Click Here for Program Details Call for Abstracts is now open at http://www.umdf.org/symposium/submitabstract.aspx. Call for Nominations The MRS has instituted the “Anthony Linnane Young Investigator Award” and will choose one or two young investigator(s) who have exhibited exceptional contributions to mitochondrial medicine and research. Candidates will be new investigators (MD or PhD) within five years of completing their postdoctoral or fellowship training. The winners will receive $1,000 each and will be invited by The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation and the Scientific Planning Committee, supported by the MRS, to present their work at the San Diego meeting.
